Job Description
$72,000-$81,120 annual base salary, based on verified job-related skills and experience.
Put practical safety knowledge to work in the field, the classroom and client conversations. OccuPros is seeking a Bilingual Safety Specialist based in our Arlington office to visit clients across the United States, conduct hands-on inspections, build and present useful training in English and Spanish, and help clients address documented safety needs.
What you will do
• Work in person with the OccuPros team in Arlington and travel to client locations across the United States as assignments require.
• Conduct field safety inspections, identify hazards, explain practical corrective actions, and prepare accurate reports with clear follow-up responsibilities and evidence.
• Build, adapt and present reusable English/Spanish safety training, including presentations, handouts, demonstrations and checks that participants understand the material.
• Translate field findings and client questions into relevant training topics and practical safety support.
• Present findings and recommendations clearly to workers, supervisors and client leadership; maintain reliable inspection and training records.
• Ask thoughtful questions about client operations, identify appropriate opportunities for additional OccuPros services, and support cross-selling and upselling through clear explanations of needs, scope and options.
• Coordinate with the team on client follow-up and service proposals. Represent findings honestly and distinguish immediate safety concerns from optional follow-on services.
• Take ownership of improving how OccuPros delivers its work: build useful training and inspection/report templates, strengthen client follow-up processes, and check whether the changes improve service quality and consistency.
Required qualifications
• At least three years of relevant professional safety experience that includes hands-on field inspections and developing or delivering workplace safety training. Describe your actual responsibilities and results, even if your job title was different.
• OSHA 30-Hour course completion (Construction or General Industry), ASP, CSP, or another relevant safety credential accepted after review of its scope and relevance to the assigned work. Evidence must be available for verification; OSHA 10 alone does not satisfy this requirement.
• Fluent working English and Spanish sufficient to conduct safety training, give clear field instructions, check understanding and discuss findings with clients.
• Practical knowledge of workplace hazards, inspection methods, corrective-action follow-up and the limits of your own authority or qualifications.
• Ability to work in person from the Arlington office and travel to client sites across the United States.
• Clear presentation, writing and client-service skills, plus willingness to take ownership of training development, internal process improvement and consultative cross-selling/upselling based on documented client needs.
Preferred qualifications
• Five or more years of relevant professional safety experience.
• Experience independently delivering bilingual safety training and presenting inspection findings to clients.
• Relevant instructor qualifications, such as OSHA 500/501 training or current AHA instructor credentials. Any required program authorization must be verified for the particular training delivered.
• Experience identifying client needs, explaining service options or helping prepare well-scoped service proposals.
• Examples of a training, inspection, reporting or client-service process you helped build or measurably improve.
Location and travel
This position is based in the OccuPros Arlington office. Expect travel to client locations across the United States on a weekly to every-other-week basis, including overnight trips and some weekend work.
OccuPros covers business travel, lodging, meals and rental vehicles through an issued company credit card.
Benefits
• Paid time off
• Paid holidays
