This is a fast-paced, physically active kitchen where cooks remain on their feet throughout the shift. Schedules vary based on events, but employees receive their schedules in advance. The right candidate brings recent restaurant or catering experience, works with energy and urgency, and genuinely enjoys feeding people. Key ResponsibilitiesTrim and prepare chicken, beef, and porkGrill meats consistently and safelyPrepare sauces and other menu itemsFollow simple recipes and portioning instructionsCook for catered events and large groupsMaintain pace, quality, and organization during busy shiftsFollow directions and work effectively with the kitchen teamQualificationsRecent cooking experience in catering, banquet, or full-service restaurant environmentsExperience trimming and grilling chicken, beef, and porkExperience preparing sauces and following recipesComfortable cooking in volume for groupsAble to stand and work in a fast-paced kitchen for the entire shiftReliable, punctual, positive, and team-oriented Experience from full-service, high-volume restaurants may transfer well.
