  • Use whole-group, small-group, and individualized instructional approaches as appropriate.
  • Incorporate ongoing assessments-including opportunities for student self-assessment.
  • Utilize student and district data to improve instruction and support growth.
Professional Responsibilities

  • Stay current with best practices, research, and district goals.
  • Reflect on teaching practices to support continuous growth.
  • Take risks with new ideas and instructional methods to deepen student learning.

  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues, including Special Educators and support staff, to implement student plans.
  • Contribute positively to the school community and participate in the professional learning community.
  • Supervise students as needed and complete required reports and records.
  • Uphold strong professional ethics, habits, and modeling for students.
  • Support paraeducators with purposeful assignments and guidance.

  • Ability to navigate diverse situations with patience, compassion, and professionalism.
  • Experience working with children or adolescents.
  • Ability to attend required trainings, meetings, and professional development activities.
