Summary

As a Private Duty Nurse at Mercy Plus Healthcare Services, you will play a vital role in delivering personalized nursing care to our clients. This position is essential in ensuring the safety and well-being of our patients while promoting their independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct nursing care to patients in their homes or at our centers.
• Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each patient's needs.
• Monitor patient health status and perform assessments to ensure optimal care.
• Maintain accurate medical documentation and communicate effectively with the healthcare team.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
• Educate patients and families on health management and disease prevention strategies.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate comprehensive patient care.

Requirements

• Registered Nurse (RN) or Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license required.
• Strong knowledge of medical terminology and anatomy.
• Experience in patient assessment and medical documentation is essential.
• Familiarity with infectious disease care is a plus.
