This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to apply skills acquired in their Human Resources coursework in a professional setting. The intern will gain a better understanding of the roles within HR and be equipped with skills to immediately deploy. The candidate will also have the opportunity to interact with leaders and employees in other areas of the enterprise.What You'll Do:Work with Talent Development team on onboarding activitiesAssist with the creation and implementation of employee development resourcesPlan and coordinate employee engagement eventsAssist with HR projects, reports/analytics, dashboardsConduct research and present findings on current HR topicsParticipate in and present on a corporate internship projectWhat You'll Need:Must be an incoming Junior or SeniorMust be a student for the duration of the intern programDegree concentration in Human ResourcesMinimum of 3.0 GPASelf-starter with initiative and integritySolid organizational skills and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsExperience with Microsoft 365Ability to maintain strict confidentiality GuideStone Financial
